October Newsletter

The 10th month already and Christmas is looming round the corner. The nights are drawing in now.

We have all been busy since our last newsletter with various magazine articles with GT Purely Porsche, 911 and Porsche World and Porsche Post. The GT article was featuring the 2 x 996 GT2 cars which we specially modified into GT2 RS cars with extensive changes.

We also had our 2nd Croft Track Day of the year, once again proving to be a superb day with Mr Sykes receiving an award for best driver and best turned out car with his GT2 RS, best improver went to the brother of last times winner Mr Morgan who incidentally won "nob of the day" for his dramatic efforts in his 996 Turbo.

We are now pleased to announce our new smart repairs section, head valeter, Tom, who is responsible for the preparation of many Concours winners will assess your car and can carry out any of the following repairs:
Windscreen repairs to that chip or bullet mark
Stone chips in the paint work can be taken care of using a special paint which fills the hole and the simple wiping with a special cloth removes any excess.
Small paint damaged area's can also be taken care of using the same process.
Dent removal is now also a specialty, if you have a ding or shopping trolley mark in your paint why not let us remove it with our series of bars without leaving a mark.
Wheel refurbishing is also an in-house process, whether it be polished rims which have been kerbed or just corroded paint, we can take care of them for you.

The Service Department has now taken on 1 extra technician, Allan "Gordy" Jackson, to once again reduce our booking in times, so please give us a call whether it be Porsche servicing or any make of vehicle, we can work on them all.

The Parts Department this month has some sad news, with Ian Parkin, after many years of service to our company, finally deciding to i suppose semi-retire. Ian has chosen a slightly different vocation to keep him active but we would all like to thank him for the years of service and commitment, not only to Specialist Cars but to Porsche as well. Hopefully Ian and his family will still be attending shows with us.
This has opened up a slightly different angle for us and Paulo, our new Parts Manager, will be offering parts at new prices with even more discounts available.

The Sales Department have some great news this month with many new cars available for sale, including Hummers and our new Dodge SRT-10 Viper Engined Pick Up. We also have for sale what we believe to be the finest Ultima GTR500. With many fresh faces to our stock including 996, 993, 964 and 911's as well as Cayenne, 968, 928 and 944's, we believe we have the finest range of cars for sale in the UK, and with our special rates of finance, we can confirm there has never been a better time to buy new or used Porsche. Please also don't forget Don and all his contacts we can supply you any make of car you are fancying.

Finally, with Christmas just around the corner our stock items can make superb gifts, be it a new Porsche, Zymol, books, models or other Porsche related accessories, please order soon to ensure delivery for Christmas.

Please drop us a line should you have any questions or needs we would be able to help with.

Kind Regards
