British Racing Green, Total ground up restoration

In stock now this beautiful MGB GT has benefitted from a total ground up restoration. The car is built on a new shell including bonnet, boot and doors. The interior is to a high standard including sports seats and Sparco harnesses. The engine is totally rebuilt with new parts including new crank, balance conrods, pistons, gas flowed head, big racing valves, racing valve springs and pushrods, lightened flywheel, new shells, 45 twin choke Weber, full 718 Kent cam, race exhaust manifold, large Peco exhaust system, 123 electrical distributor which is programmable, new radiator and thermostat. The car has hardened valve seats so runs on normal pump unleaded. The car has new brakes, master cylinder, clutch, a rebuilt gearbox with overdrive on 3rd and 4th. The suspension has been powder coated, polyurethane bushes all round, rear parabolic race springs, lowered reprogrammed gas shocks, negative camber lower antiroll arms, thicker front antiroll bar, race fuel pump, brand new fuel tank, new wiring loom, new glass and new rubber bumpers. The car wears the correct Jubilee wheels. The car also has a fitted rollcage for stiffness and protection and headlight protectors. The headlights are H4s so are nice and bright.

All this work has been carried out to the highest specification and with top quality components, over £20,000 has been spent and the attention to detail is amazing.

The car is great fun to drive, very quick and looks superb. The racing grapgics can be removed if they are not to your taste. The car would make an ideal fun road car and could be used for sprinting or hillclimbing.

A once in a lifetime opportunity to own an MGB in this condition, the car has only had 4 owners in 34 years including a titled owner and has a great provenance.
