First registered in April 1968 the car, chassis number K-A2S6/1088665 was first built on the 10th January 1968 and despatched to C&R Garages just a few miles from us in Scarborough. It was specified with a fresh-air heater, sump guard and heated rear window and was issued the registration number MPY8F which is still sports. The original green logbook stamped by the North Riding of Yorkshire is present and accompanies the car as does a heritage certificate. Despite it's 46 year age the car has only had 6 owners from new.
Over £32,000 was spent on restoring the car with photographs and invoices to support. In addition the car is accompanied by a huge file of old invoices, MOTs, old tax disks, a lot of which a previous owner has laminated, a sign of the attention to detail and care lavished on the car to ensure it remains one of the finest in existence. An original handbook is also present.
