In stock now is this beautiful Porsche 911 2.7 RS Touring. A left hand drive (LHD) car it was delivered in 1973 to an Italian buyer in stunning Blood Orange (blutorange).
The car has an interesting history including competition use in the 1975 Targa Florio and 1976 Salita Monte Pellegrino (see photos).
In 2009 a full bare metal restoration was carried out in its original colour of Blood Orange. The restoration was done by well respected specialists Colpani Motori in Brescia, Italy, and cost in excess of €24,000.
Resplendent in its original colour scheme with black graphics the car drives as well as it looks, its 210 BHP engine and kerb weight of just 1075 Kg meaning exhilarating performance and nimble handling.
The 2.7 RS is for many the most desirable of all 911 models, its roots as a homologation special to allow Porsche to race in the Group 4 Special GT series. This example, with its matching numbers and original colours will appeal to the most serious of enthusiasts as a must-have for any collection.
We have a dropbox gallery of many additional detailed photos and scans of the cars entries into various races including the Targa Florio, Salita Monte Pellegrino and others. We also have photos of the restoration, please enquire.
The car is currently Italian registered, we can UK register it, or can deliver it worldwide.
