John Hawkins is the Managing Director of Specialist Cars of Malton. The company was founded around his passion for excellence and this is borne through the way all of the team carry out their work. Taking a hands on approach to the business, John is often the person who will greet you, ascertaining what it is you are looking for and answering your questions.
John has a philosophy of "get it right first time" and prides himself on encouraging others within Specialist Cars to adopt this policy.
When purchasing any vehicle, John almost instinctively knows if the vehicle is one that he would be confident selling; if he has any hesitation in buying, then he would not be able to sell it and maintain the high standards he has successfully maintained for 14 years.
''Its common sense. Prevention is better than cure," he says understanding that all vehicles are sold with a full 12-month warranty. "My reputation depends on customer satisfaction, its important for my cars to sell themselves"

Glyn O'Donnell is the General Manager. Built in the same mould as John (except with less hair), Glyn delivers the eagle-eyed attention to detail that we would all love to receive but rarely do from ordinary dealerships.
Glyn ensures that every vehicle released from Specialist Cars of Malton, is in better than working order. "Some traders do little more than take the money and push their customers out of the door; I work from the opposite end, ensuring that when a customer wishes to exchange their vehicle, it is to me that they will come first" borne through a trust that you get what you pay for. Maintaining customers and converting them to friends seems to come naturally to Glyn; making this an enjoyable and unique experience. Glyn is also recognised a ZYMOL expert with an endless amount of knowledge about the product which is available to all.

Ian, customer service manager, has over 30 years Porsche experience but still claims to be only 37 years old!. Ian is well known to owners of the Porsche marque and also to fellows of the institute of the motor industry (I M I),where he has been an active member for a number of years now; within this fellowship, he is also greatly respected. For service or parts inquiries speak to Ian and you can be sure of friendly personal attention. Advice is free, so why not take advantage of Ian's in-depth knowledge of all things Porsche

Kerry is our newest member to our team and comes with a glowing report. Known within Specialist Cars as " Titch", this fiery little monster is responsible for our company accounts and purchases. Often found in her matching twin set, when kerry is not at work she can often be found in other peoples gardens wearing a red hat, with rosy cheeks , fishing!

Chief Technician, Mike "Nobby" Johnson has many years experience with the Porsche marque and also racing skills from CC racing. Mike is also our racing driver and is proving a force to be reckoned with at a very early stage of his driving career. Mike can be also found regularly at Madam Tussauds and the FA cup final, looking great in silver! (note the ears)

Mike Bielby; again with many many years of Porsche experience,Mike originally started his Porsche career in 1967 and went on to a very successful time with CC racing and autotech Mike is also a double for the world cup. (if you stare into his eyes you can almost see the wall behind!)

Timothy (Tim) Bielby, Mikes son appears to be following in his father's footsteps both in his excellent mechanical knowledge of the Porsche but also in his driving aspirations.

Liz,when not practicing witchcraft, is one of our valeters. It has been said that in cars she does fantastic tricks, a comment often leveled at her previous career in Hollywood, although she never met Mr Grant!

"Honey im home", yes you guessed it, Nigel is our resident valeter and is also known as "the zymol shining beast" Nigel can be located, in our showroom

Tony is our parts assistant but also doubles up as the butt for all our jokes. Indeed it was on one cruel January monday that we came to work, to find Tony already at work!. Someone who shall remain nameless, had cruelly licked his lips and stuck him to the showroom window. "But my oh what big lips you have Tony"...all the better to sing the blues was his reply!"

Sam is not as dim as he looks!. Recently gaining top marks at the Mechanics College, Sams motivation and dedication requires little or no tweaking from his fellow Specialist Cars team mates. (Whether or not this will change when he reaches puberty, we just do not know) Sam is also a fantastic driver, whom we hope will represent Specialist Cars in future tournaments

Paul another new member specialises in finding things , last month we tasked him with finding a missing link and we feel that he just might be able to help...what do you think?

Glen the Saturday assistant, contrary to his looks is quite intelligent, (that vacant smile hides it well, dont you think). He does valet very well though and is a credit to medical science

Nik, is our saturday valeter and really is a great chap, who produces well Zymolled cars.
